Future Tense

Future Tense digunakan untuk menyatakan kejadian yang akan terjadi di masa depan. Ada dua bentuk utama dalam Future Tense, yaitu "Be Going To" dan "Will/Shall".

1. "Be Going To"

Digunakan untuk menyatakan rencana yang sudah diputuskan sebelumnya atau prediksi berdasarkan bukti saat ini.

Contoh:
✔️ Today, I am going to drive my new motorcycle. (Rencana)
✔️ Look at those black clouds! It’s going to rain. (Prediksi berdasarkan bukti)

Rumus "Be Going To":

Kalimat	Pola
(+)	S + am/is/are + going to + V1 + O
(-)	S + am/is/are + not + going to + V1 + O
(?)	Am/Is/Are + S + going to + V1 + O?

Contoh:
✔️ He is going to study tomorrow.
❌ He is not going to study tomorrow.
❓ Is he going to study tomorrow?

2. "Will/Shall"

Digunakan untuk menyatakan keputusan spontan, prediksi tanpa bukti, pendapat pribadi, janji, atau tawaran.

Contoh:
✔️ I will close the door right now. (Keputusan spontan)
✔️ I think I will have a sandwich. (Pendapat pribadi)
✔️ Don’t worry. I will help you with your homework. (Janji)

Rumus "Will/Shall":

Contoh:
✔️ They will study tomorrow.
❌ They will not study tomorrow.
